George A. Lawrence

George A. Lawrence , 85 of Coplay- N. Whitehall Twsp., PA, passed away with family by his side on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest Campus in Allentown, PA. Born December 6, 1939, in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late George S. Lawrence and the late Stella E. (Grobelski) Lawrence. He was the husband of Joyce P. (Oswald) Lawrence with whom he shared 40 years of marriage this past November 11, 2024.

George was last employed as a Computer Analyst for the former National Credit Co, Allentown, PA for over 40 years before retiring in 1997. George was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, PA. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying the sport of hunting and fishing. George was a member of Ranger Lake Rod & Gun Club, Coplay, PA, and he was a life member of the Slatington Skeet Club. More recently, he enjoyed working his parttime Valet position at Integrated Health Campus, Allentown, PA.

Surviving along with his wife Joyce, are children; Tina Marie Yanders-Budnik of Coplay, Timothy C. Yanders of Schnecksville. PA, brother, Ronald Lawrence (Rita) of Macungie, PA; 4 Grandchildren; Kyrie Budnik-Pratt (Lincoln), Cody Budnik, Austin Yanders, and Kenleigh Wanamaker-Perry, 2 Great-granddaughters; Goldie and Violet Pratt.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday June 3, 2025, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. Family and friends may call from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in Neffs Union Cemetery, Neffs, PA.
