George N. Reese

George N. Reese, 78 of Lehigh Township, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Born September 18, 1944 in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George Fratella and the late Ruth (Reese) Palumbo. He and his wife Bridgett F. (Skrapits) Reese were married on April 6, 1984.

He served  in the U.S. Army from 1963 until 1969 during Vietnam and was the owner and operator of the former George Reese Distribution for many years before retiring. He spent his retirement golfing and driving bus for First Student. George was a member of Old Homestead Golf Course.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-son, Adam Miller and his wife Aubrie of Breinigsville, brother, William Reese and wife Janet of Walnutport, granddaughters, Randi and Alexandria, three great grandchildren, and four sisters. He was predeceased by daughter, Lorrie Ann Pressley.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a 6:30 PM memorial service, all on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in care of the funeral home.
