George D. Thompson,
83 of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on Friday, October 27, 2017, at his residence. Born April 24, 1934 in Plainfield, New Jersey, he was the son of the late David and Beatrice (Johnson) Thompson.
He was a professional picture framer at Swains, Plainfield, NJ for 34 years before retiring. George honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a Veteran of Peacetime.
Survivors: He is survived by sons, Scott W. Thompson of Phillipsburg, NJ, and David J. Thompson and wife Brenda of Lower Nazareth, Township. Grandsons, David Thompson, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, and Patrick Thompson of Hixson, TN.
