Gerald Lee Trumbauer

Gerald Lee Trumbauer, 70, of Slatington, PA, passed away on September 5, 2022, at his residence in Slatington, PA.

Born July 16, 1952 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Martin Trumbauer and the late Madeline (Lutz) Trumbauer. He was the husband of Jane Trumbauer with whom he shared 7 years of marriage this past July 3, 2022.

Gerald was employed by Lehigh University as an electrician for 27-1/2 years. Outside of work, he made commitments of Life Membership to Blue Ridge, Ontelaunee, East Bath, and Lappawinzo Rod and Gun Clubs, along with being active in many other gun clubs. He was also a Life member of Emerald Fire Company, Slatington.

Survivors: wife, step-daughter Kelsi McCabe wife of Christopher Calvert of Lansdale PA, brother, Richard Trumbauer of Bath, PA, sister, Sandra Ehrgott of Bethlehem, PA, and grandchildren Olivia Wampler, Dante and Wyatt Silket. He was predeceased by daughter, Lisa Silket.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday September 10, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA, 18067. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to service. Interment will follow at Egypt Cemetery, Whitehall Twp (Egypt), PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Blue Ridge Rod and Gun Club c/o the funeral home.
