Giacomina Carrer

Giacomina D'Arsie Carrer, 91 of Allentown, formerly of Emmaus, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown.

Born January 22, 1930 in Carpesica, Rive, Vittorio, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Antonia (Borcio) D'Arsie and wife of the late Bruno Carrer.

She worked as a sewing machine operator for 28 years before retiring and was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by her son, Frederick B. and wife Deborah Carrer of Palmerton, daughter, Silvana J. wife of Billy Casey of Reno, NV, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and she had nine brothers and two sister.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
