Glenn A. Deily, 64, of Northampton, died peacefully, Saturday afternoon, Feb 27, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Barbara (Updegrove) Deily since Nov 29, 1991. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Alfred H. and Laura (Phillips) Deily.
Glenn was employed by PPL Electric Utilities Corp., Allentown, as a laborer and draftsman for over 25 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. John''s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Coplay. Glenn was a 1969 graduate of Dieruff High School, Allentown, and attended Penn State University.
Survivors: wife, son, William H. Stout of Northampton, brother, Christopher and wife Mary of Lansdale, Montgomery County. There were also 3 nieces and father-in-law, Ronald Updegrove of Northampton. He was predeceased by son, Michael D. Stout in 2012.
Services: 11:00AM Wednesday March 2, 2016, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Calling hour 10-11:00AM Wednesday in funeral home. Interment, Allen Union Cemetery, 4th and Main Streets, Northampton.
