Gloria F. Beta

Gloria F. Beta, 92 of Schnecksville, formerly of Palmerton, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at her daughter's home.

Born March 12, 1930 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harold G. and Florence (Rex) Gracely, and was raised by her grandparents, the late Robert and Eda (Weis) Rex. She was the wife of the late John Beta.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Gracely Watchman Service, Palmerton for ten years before retiring. Prior to that, she worked at the W.T. Grant Store and was a graduate of Slatington High School.

She was survived by her daughter, Stephanie wife of Dennis J. Murphy of Schnecksville, and grandchildren, Patrick, Kathryn, and Michael Murphy. She was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Rex.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM memorial service, all on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Interment will follow at St. Vladimir's Upper Cemetery, Palmerton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development in care of the funeral home.
