Gloria J. Koehler, 73, of Wind Gap, PA died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Hospice House of the VNA @ St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA. Born August 2, 1944 in Bushkill Center, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Detweiler and Anna (Snyder) Mack of Nazareth, PA. She was the wife of Howard S. Koehler.
Gloria was employed as a proof reader for the Orange County Register newspaper in Santa Anna, CA for 5 years before retiring in 1995. She also worked part-time at Walden III care facility as a nurse's aide and at The Chicken Shack.
Surviving along with her husband are son, David Kostenbader of Garden Grove, CA, daughter, Karen, wife of Bob Eary of Costa Mesa, CA and Sandra, wife of Aaron Moreno of Orange, CA, step-daughter, Debra Koehler of Nazareth, PA, sister, Irene, wife of Dennis Rundle of PA, 4 grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon, Ravyn and Kyle, 1 step-granddaughter, Charissa, wife of Mike and 1 great-granddaughter, Emma. She was predeceased by a brother, Walter "Skip" Mack and a sister, Betty Estrada.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
