Grace M. Frohnheiser

Grace M. Frohnheiser, 87, formerly of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died Sunday evening, October 16, 2016, in Lykens, Dauphin County. She was the wife of the late William J. Frohnheiser who passed in 1986. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mabel (Berger) Dorshimer.
Grace had worked as a seamstress for various garment mills in the Palmerton Region, including the former Blue Ridge Sportswear, and Lars Mill, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., and a life member of the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors: Daughters, Sharon L. wife of Robert Hosier with whom she resided, Janet Smith of Palmerton. 5 Grandchildren. 12 Great-grandchildren. Brothers, Sterling and Judy Dorshimer of Philadelphia, Dennis and wife Geraldine Dorshimer of Palmerton. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Leon Shupp in 1986, and a grandson Jeremy in 2004.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016, in Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment is at Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Ashfield, PA 18212. Officiating will be the Rev. Anthony P. Pagotto.
