Grace P. (Gougher) Weidaw-Flyzik, 99, of Maple Avenue, Lehighton, Franklin Township, PA, died peacefully early Tuesday evening, September 3, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late James E. Weidaw.  Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late George and Ellen (Berger) Gougher.

Grace was a loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and homemaker.  She was employed for several years as a seamstress by the former Indigo Jean Co., Lehighton.  Grace was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton, and a social member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Lehighton Post.  She was a 1943 graduate of the former Polk Township High School, Kresgeville.

Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Connie E. Clay of Palmerton.  2 grandchildren, Tara, and Ryan.  6 great-grandchildren, Christopher, Tori, Josh, Collin, Evan, and Lauren.  8 great-great-grandchildren.  Sister, Velma Silfies of Kunkletown.  Brother, Marlin Gougher of Millville, NJ.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sister, Ruth Rinker, and brothers, Delbert, Walter, and Wilbur.

Services: Graveside Services, 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2024, Franklin Heights Memorial Park, East Weissport, Franklin Township.  Arrangements, Miller Funeral Home, Lehighton.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
