Gregory D. Freeby

Gregory D. Freeby, 70 of Lehighton, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital - Carbon Campus, Lehighton.

Born July 3, 1955, in Lehighton, he was the son of the late Maynard and Marie (Fink) Freeby husband of the late Cynthia L. (Everett) Freeby.

He was a graduate of Lehighton High School Graduate and was employed by Blue Ridge Pressure Casting Company. Prior to that, he worked as a mason for a monument company in Summit Hill. He was a 1974 graduate of Lehighton High School and a former member of East Penn Sporting Club. Gregory was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping, hiking, grilling, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by daughters, Sara M. Freeby of Lehighton, Julie wife of Christopher Brady of Gouldsboro, Tiffany M. Freeby of Lehighton, and Erica Everett wife of Joseph Wilt of Weatherly, grandchildren, Adrian, Keegan, Noah, Anna, and Samuel, sisters, Kim wife of Frank Kollar of Bowmanstown, and Diane wife of Jerry Duncan of Texas. He was predeceased by brother, Darryl Freeby, sisters, Betty Ruhl, Sus Ziegenfus, Kay Ann Wentz, and Donna Smith.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a 3:00 PM memorial service, all on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton.
