Gregory "Greg" I. Gorgas

Gregory Ian Gorgas, 72, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Old Orchard Health Care Center in Easton.

Surviving are his sister, Gale (Gorgas) Maher; his brother-in-law, Richard W. Maher, both of Mahanoy City; his nephews, Richard H. Maher of Mahanoy City and Renaldo Rivera of Bangor; and two grandnieces and two grandnephews.

Born and raised in Palmer Township, Gregory was the son of William Gorgas and Margaret (Jones) Gorgas. In later years, he was a resident of Nazareth.

Gregory graduated from Easton Area High School in 1966 and enjoyed a long career at Harvel Plastics until retirement in 1994.

He enjoyed meeting with friends and spending time with family. His interests included firearms, unexplained and paranormal phenomena, and discussing Nazareth-area history. Gregory was a friend of Bill W.

Due to the current worldwide health crisis, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial donations in Gregory's name may be made to the Moravian Historical Society, 214 E. Center St., Nazareth, PA 18064.
