Gregory L. Krayowski, 78, Sarasota, FL, formerly of Palmerton, PA, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2026, in his home. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Andrew C. and Alice C. (Leindecker) Krayowski.
Gregory was employed by the State of PA, Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, and in Duryea, Luzerne County. Previously, he served in the Army, JAG Dept, Fort Dix, NJ, Vietnam Era. A 1965 graduate of the Palmerton High School, he later graduated from St. Basil's College, Stamford, CN. Gregory had formally attended St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton, and was a member of the Sarasota Mission Parish of the All Saints Byzantine Catholic Church, Sarasota, FL. Gregory was an avid Penn State Sports fan.
Survivors: Sisters, Andrea C. wife of Paul Eckhart of Bradenton, and Kathryn White, all of Bradenton, FL. Brother, Eric and wife Barbara of Upperco, MD. He was very close to his 4 nieces, 3 grandnephews, and 5 grandnieces. He was predeceased by brother, Andrew, in 2009.
Services: Divine Liturgy, 11:00a.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, 106 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 9:30-10:30a.m., Friday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Interment with Military Honors, Parish's Lower Cemetery, Fireline Road, Palmerton.
