Greta N. Green, 85, formerly of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, died Friday afternoon, April 8, 2016 at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Green, Sr. who passed in 1980. Born in Lenark, Coopersburg, she was a daughter of the late Miles H. and Florence S. (Schuler) Trexler.
Greta was employed as a sales clerk by the Egypt Star Bakery, Whitehall. Later, she worked in custodial care for Sand Spring Apartments, North Whitehall Township, and NKI Builders. She was a member of the Fogelsville Volunteer Fire Company, and the Copeechan Fish and Game Club, Schnecksville.
Survivors: Daughters, Greta N. Magliane of Walnutport, Roberta A. Ganjemi of Laury''s Station, Patricia J. wife of Gary W. Wieand of Slatington. Sons, Robert W., Jr. and wife Nancy of Whitehall. 8 Grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Brother, Hampton of Limeport. Nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Gregory R. in 2009.
Services: Graveside Services at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Allentown, Hanover Township. Arrangements are by Schisler Funeral Home, 2110 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
Contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer''s Association, 617A Main Street, Hellertown, PA 18055.
