Grete U. Wrede

Grete U. (Stern) Wrede , 92, formerly of New York and Florida, died peacefully Wednesday evening, August 18, 2021, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown, Pennsylvania.  She was the wife of the late Robert H. Wrede who passed in 1995.  Born in New York, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Erna (Bassler) Stern.

Grete was employed as an administrative assistant by the Campbell Soup Company, New York.  She attended Living Hope Lighthouse Church, Palmerton.  Grete enjoyed driving, traveling, and playing tennis.

Survivors: Daughter, Barbara A. wife of Richard Carinci of North Catasauqua.  Son, Robert W. and wife Donna Morehouse of Stratford, Connecticut.  10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Sister, Ilse Koerper of Crestwood, Yonkers, New York.  She was predeceased by sons, Richard and Peter Morehouse, and grandson, James.
