Harry E Grammes Jr

Harry E. Grammes, Jr., 77 of Hellertown, PA. died Sunday, May 22, 2016, at his residence. Born April 28, 1939 in
Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Harry E. Grammes, Sr. and the late Minnie (Smith) Bilheimer-Grammes.
Harry was employed by Former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 41 years with his last responsibility as the manager for the
coke works division until retiring in 1994. A member of Emmanuels Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath PA.; Harry
was an avid antique collector, who enjoyed attending flea markets; He was much about being with people with his
weekly stop at Krock''s Pub, Wescoesville, PA. to meet the gang; regular stops at Snydersville Diner; he spent much
time with friend and family out dining; he loved his garden and being outdoors.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Hilda Phillips of Berwick, PA. and canine companion Sara. Many nieces and
nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 7 Sisters; Elizabeth, Anna, Mary, Dorothy, Quilla,
Esther, Edith, and 5 Brothers; Kenneth, Dallas, Robert, William, Arthur.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday May 26, 2016 at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175
Valley View Drive Bath, PA. 18014 with the Rev. Elizabeth Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services in the church. Interment will follow in Emmanuel''s Union Cemetery-
Emmanuelsville, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA. is in charge of arrangements.
