Harvey H. Handwerk, 89 of Walnutport/Treichlers, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. Harvey was the loving husband of Althea (Hittner) Handwerk, sharing 66 years of marriage together.

Harvey was a graduate of Northampton Area High School, Class of 1954. He worked for Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms, and United Die Finishing for a few years. Then he was drafted into the Army, serving during the Cuban Crisis, earning the rank of SP-4 E-4 before being honorably discharged in 1963. Once returning home, he worked for United Die Finishing for a few years before attending trade school. Harvey would then go on to work for Western Electric/Lucent Tech for 33 years as a pipe fitter, retiring in 2002.
