Harvey Ge Haydt

Harvey G.E. Haydt, 87 of Sunset Road, Kittatinny, Lehighton E. Penn Twp, died suddenly Monday morning, February 29, 2016, at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Palmerton Campus. He was the husband of Marie F. (McFarland) Haydt since July 1, 1950. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late G. Elmer and Beulah (Gangaware) Haydt.
Harvey was employed in the maintenance dept of the Mack Trucks, Corp, for 40 years, retiring in 1990. Previously, he was employed by the former Dragon Cement Co., Northampton. He was a member of Jehovah''s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Mahoning Twp.
Survivors: wife, daughters, Susan wife of Ronald Strohl of Ashfield, Brenda wife of Richard Kowalsky of Lehighton. 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Pauline Minnich of Walnutport, brother, Roy of Bangor, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons, Bruce and Barry.
