Hazel J. Anderson

Hazel J. Anderson , 93 formerly of Walnutport PA, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Born September 16, 1930 in Greenville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Elston and the late Edith (Conklin) Elston. Hazel was the loving wife of the late Robert Anderson, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage with.

She worked for the former M&M Mars in Hackettstown NJ, for 15 years before retiring in 1995. Hazel loved to play BINGO at the Walnutport/Slatington Diamond Fire Company.  She also enjoyed frequent trips to the casino to spin the slots, and spending time with her family.

Survivors: daughter, Nancy wife of Dale Tift of Walnutport, PA, granddaughters Cathy wife of David Snyder, and Heather wife of Jon Kenyon, great-grandsons David Snyder, Braden Marzen, Logan Marzen, and Robert Snyder, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 15 brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday July 17th at Schisler Funeral Home, located at 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery - Northampton, PA. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM to up until the time of service.
