Helen J. Delong-Masonheimer

Helen J. DeLong-Masonheimer, 89 of Northampton, formerly of Venice, FL and Center Valley, PA, died Friday, October 12, 2018, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton.
Born April 13, 1929 in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Mathias and Anna (Palkovits) Zvikovits and wife of the late Charles L. DeLong and her second husband, the late William H. Masonheimer. She worked as a Test Set Maker for Lucent Technologies, Allentown for thirteen years before retiring in 1988.
She is survived by daughter, Cynthia L. Shipwash of Whitehall, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughters, Carol L. Weil and Yvonne DeLong, ten brothers, seven sisters and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM Memorial Service on Friday, October 19, 2018, all at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Assoc. or Family Pillars Hospice, both in care of the funeral home.
