Helen E. (Foster) Smith , 85, of the Palmer House, Palmerton, PA, formerly of Fireline Road, Palmerton, died peacefully early Tuesday morning at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Smith who passed in 1981. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late James Foster and Irene Mae (Ziegenfuss) Zellers Foster.
Helen was employed in the Pressing Department of Paris Neckwear Accessories Co., Walnutport, for 42 years. She was a longtime member of the I.L.G.W.U. Helen enjoyed playing cards, attending casino trips, shopping, and solving puzzles.
Survivors: Daughter, Brenda L. wife of Ralph Miller of Lehighton. Son, Raymond P. and wife Michele M. Smith of Palmerton. 3 grandchildren whom she was so proud of, Kyle Miller, Ashley wife of Peter Boyatt, and Samantha Smith. 2 great-grandsons, Carter and Kaysen Boyatt, whom she loved so much. Niece, Helen Moyer of FL. She was predeceased by sister, Marion Moyer, and stepbrothers, George and Howard Zellers.
