Helen E. (Bollinger) Snyder , 89, of Wintergreen Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Twp., PA, died peacefully late Monday evening, October 21, 2024, in her home. Born in Lower Towamensing Twp., she was a daughter of the late John A. and Irene M. (Eckhart) Bollinger.
Helen was employed by the former Majestic Garment Co., Palmerton, as a seamstress and button holer. She was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trachsville. A longtime member of the I.L.G.W.U. she enjoyed crocheting, knotted quilting, and making people laugh. Helen was a life member of the Raccoon Club, Seemsville.
Survivors: Sons, Ray Snyder of Forest Inn, Randy and wife Kim Snyder of Egypt, and Dean Snyder with whom she resided. 7 grandchildren. 2 great-granddaughters. Sister, Doris of Palmerton. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Violet Eck, Eva Larsen, and Evelyn Nonnemacher, and brothers, Herman, Walter, Clark, Earl, Alvin, Neal, Martin, and Morris.
