Helen R. Wentz

Helen R. Wentz, 84, of Cedar Street, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, died Monday, June 19, 2017, in her home. She was the wife of the late Clair E. Wentz who passed in 1996. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Grace (Parliman) Graver.

Helen was employed as a mender in the repair department of the former Weissport Mill. She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, E. Weissport. Helen enjoyed playing pinochle.

Survivors: Sons, Allen and wife Debbie Wentz, Terry L. and wife Jennifer Wentz, all of Franklin Township, Jeffrey and wife Lorraine Wentz of Parryville. 12 grandchildren. 2 step-grandchildren. 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, William A. in 2012, and 2 grandsons, Nathan, and Cody.

Services: Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 222 N. Church Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. Call, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday in the church.
