Helen S. Ziatyk

Helen S. Ziatyk , 79 of Northampton, PA, passed away on February 20, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA. Born August 13, 1944 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul Biery and the late Susan (Kovach) Biery. She was the wife of the late Donald Ziatyk.

Helen started her working career young, by helping out at her family's grocery stores. She then helped her sons with the family business NorthCo Environmental Systems for the last 30 years, helping all around the office, doing much more than just being the secretary.  She was always there for her family, taking care of and spoiling her grandson, and any relatives that would ever need any type of help.  In her free time Helen loved the Seashore, visiting and collecting seashells.

Surviving are sons, John, Ziatyk, and Donald P. Ziatyk both of Northampton, PA, daughter, Ann M. Lal, and husband Jimmy of Blackwood, NJ, grandson Stephen E. Moore of Staten Island NY, and one sister Lois of York, PA. She was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Thomas Biery.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday February 27th, 2024 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Steve T. Pense officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 PM up until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery Northampton, PA.
