Herbert W. "Herbie" Farenkopf, 60 of Kunkletown, PA. died Wednesday, May 4, 2016, as the result of a vehicular
accident on PA. Rte. 209 in Lehighton, PA. Born January 11, 1956 in Germany, he was the son of the late Lewis
Farenkopf and Rosa (Meininger) Farenkopf, of Bethlehem, PA. . He was the husband of Gloria J. (Zellers)
Farenkopf with whom he shared 33 years of marriage last June 5, 2015.
Herbert was last employed as a truck driver for the former L.D.J. Trucking, Allentown, PA. for 5 years before retiring
in 1997. Prior to he drove for Kistler and Sons Trucking, Kempton, for 3 years, and Horwith Trucking, Northampton
for 7 years. He served his country as a Pfc. in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving along with his wife and mother are son, Scott L. Farenkopf of Bethlehem, PA, daughter, Tina M. wf. of
Robert Wunderler of Walnutport, PA. and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by 3 Brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Towamensing Cemetery, 3213 Fireline
Road Palmerton, PA. 18071.
