Herbert Leiby Jr

Herbert Leiby, Jr., 86 of Bushnell, FL. formerly of Northampton, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at Munroe Regional
Medical Center in Ocala, FL.
Born November 18, 1929 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Herbert and Julia (Gilly) Leiby, Sr. and husband of
the late Phyllis Leiby. He was a past member of the American Legion, Whitehall and the VFW of Northampton, and
Bushnell, FL. He worked at Mack Trucks, Allentown, for over 50 years before retiring. Herbert served his country in
the US Air Force during the Korean War.
He is survived by daughters, Julie Ann Beil of Spring Hill, FL, Bernice wife of Timothy Murphy of Bushnell, FL, and
Carrie wife of Kevin Breyer of Bethlehem, son, Richard Otter of Allentown, sister, Elsie Lagler of Whitehall, eight
grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM
funeral service, all at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue Northampton, 18067.
Interment with military honors will follow in Coplay Cemetery.
