Herbert W. Meitzler
, 93, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on August 8, 2017, at Bridgeway Care and Rehab Center in Hillsborough, NJ. Born November 10, 1923 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Herbert and Estella (Wagner) Meitzler. He was the loving husband of Marian (Schrantz) Meitzler for 61 years. Herbert was employed by Boise-Cascade Company as a machinist for over 18 years. He served as a TME3c in the Navy during World War II.
Survivors: include his wife, Marian; daughter, Annie E. Stiles of Branchburg, NJ; son, William H. Meitzler and his wife Carrie of Elks Grove, IL; brother, Allen H. Meitzler of Ann Arbor, MI; Grandchildren, Dan and Kevin Stiles and William, Faith, and Grace Meitzler. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard D. Meitzler.
Services: A graveside service will be at 12:00 PM on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Rd., Allentown, PA 18109.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northampton County Veterans Administrations C/O the funeral home.
