Hilda M. Mertz

Hilda M. Mertz, 98 of Bethlehem, formerly of Northampton, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at her home.

Born February 15, 1923 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Edith V. (Koch) Herman and wife of the late David W. Mertz.

She was a member and treasurer of the Hampton Ladies Bowling League and a member of the Hungarian Ladies Bowling League. Hilda also was a cashier at the Roxy Theatre in Northampton from 1962 to 1982.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna wife of Michael Castellani of Bethlehem, sister, Dorothy wife of Roy Rosenberger, grandson, Michael A. Castellani, granddaughter, Marcy D. Shander, great grandchildren, Michael A, Castellani, Angela R. Castellani, Brittain M. Shander, and Kalla L. Shander.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Wednesday, April 28, 2021,at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania.

Interment will follow at Allen Union Cemetery, Northampton.
