Hiram S. Redmond,
62, of Princeton Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday morning, September 6, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Laurie A. (Pankevitch) Redmond since November 21, 1981. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was a son of the late John A. and Celeste (Creel) Redmond.
Hiram was employed as foreman/refractory technician for Cornerstone Industries, Bowmanstown, for over 25 years, retiring in 2010. He attended the Northampton Assembly of God. Hiram was an avid fisherman and hunter, who enjoyed Beltzville Lake.
Survivors:
Wife, Laurie Redmond. Daughter, Melissa wife of Edward Cesanek of Lansford. Granddaughter, Leah Baldwin with whom he resided. Sons, Michael Redmond of Lehighton, Christopher and wife Raeann Redmond of Breinigsville, Anthony Saslo of Kunkletown. 11 grandchildren. 2 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Susan wife of Roger Phillips of Elkins, West Virginia, Mary Magee and Arlene Magee, both of Louisiana. Brothers, Joe Earl Magee and A.J. Magee, both of Louisiana. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Michael Redmond, and Lloyd Magee.
