Hope D. (Craig) Berger,
100, of High Point Lane, Slatington, Washington Township, Pennsylvania, and a resident of Liza's House, Danielsville, Lehigh Township, died on Tuesday evening, August 21, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Berger who passed in 2008. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Mary Ellen (Kreger) Craig.
Hope was employed by the Palmerton Area School District as a Para Professional Library Assistant for many years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Palmerton, where she served on the women's guild for many years. Hope was a graduate of the former Stephen S. Palmer High School, and was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Daughters, Sheryl H. wife of Martin Marcinko of Julian, Centre County, Carol A. wife of Richard Silvius of Bath. Son, Carlton R. Berger of Slatington. 3 grandchildren, Megan Gibson, Tyler Marcinko, and Matthew Silvius. Great-granddaughter, Sydney Gibson.

Prayer Service, 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2018, First U.C.C., 457 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 1:30-2:00 p.m., Monday in the church. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin E. Nuscher.
