Howard A. Beiseigel, 93, of Westminster Village in Allentown, Pennsylvania, died on Friday, Nov. 3, 2018. Born on Saturday, July 11, 1925, in Abington, he was the son of the late Elmer Beiseigel and the late Margaret (Haglegans) Beiseigel. He was the beloved husband of Shirley-Ann (Shumberger) Beiseigel, for 69 years.
Howard was employed by Ingersoll-Rand Corp., NJ. He graduated from Bucknell University, and attended Drexel University. He served as an Ensign, Lieutenant, and Pilot in the Navy, and was a veteran of World War II, stationed on the AVP USS Gardner's Bay. Howard was a Master Mason at George Washington Lodge #13, in Staunton, VA, as well as a 32 nd degree Mason in Richmond, VA. In addition, he was affiliated with the Acca Shrine Temple in Richmond, VA. He was also a member of the Eastern Star of Bethlehem. Howard loved supporting his hometown Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Survivors: Wife. Sons, Robert and wife Judy of Tallahassee, FL, Barry and wife Heidi of Springfield, VA, and John and wife Donna of Fogelsville. 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Gabriel, Sophie, and Jennifer. He was predeceased by brothers, John, Elmer, and Robert. Nieces and nephews.
Services: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 9:30-11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Masonic Services, 10:45 a.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
