Howard L. Dennis

Howard L. Dennis , 93 of Allentown, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at his home in Allentown, PA. Born Friday, December 26, 1930 in Allentown, PA, He was the husband of the late Louise (Patrick) Dennis, whom spent 62 years of loving marriage together.

Howard was employed by 1st Union Bank, formerly Merchant's Bank doing security work as well as record retention work. After his retirement, he found joy in working each year for The Great Allentown Fair. He spent many years enjoying bowling, and traveling with his wife Louise. He and Louise also enjoyed gambling at casinos together.

Surviving are sons, Peter and Thomas Dennis, Sr., 3 grand children; 4 great grand children, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Louise, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday May 2nd, 2024 at St. Francis Of Assisi R.C. Church, 801 N. 11th Street Allentown, PA, 18102 with Father Richard Brensinger officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to Mass in Church. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA. Arrangements are under the care of Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church memorial fund or Peaceable Kingdom, Whitehall both care of the funeral home.
