Howard D. Wertman

Howard D. Wertman , 76, of the Palmer House, Palmerton, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital - Miner's Memorial Campus in Coaldale, PA.  Born, September 14, 1949, in Andreas, PA, he was the son of the late Norman Wertman and the late Ruby (Schafer) Wertman.

He served two years in the Army in Germany.  Once returning home, he had various jobs including at Krause Dodge.  Howard enjoyed spending his free time in the great outdoors and the casino.

Survivors: Include his companion of 15 years, Judy E. Kresge of Palmerton.  Son, Jeffrey H. Laubach and wife Monica of CO.  Sister, Judith A. Wertman.  2 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com.
