Irena (Witek) Bezak, 87, of Forest Street, Lehighton, Franklin Twp, died peacefully early Saturday morning, February 28, 2026, in her home. She was the wife of Jozef Bezak since Dec 29, 1958. Born in Radgoszcz, Dabrowa County, Southern Poland, she was a daughter of the late Jan and Maria (Bator) Witek.

Irena was employed as a seamstress and machine operator by Craftex Mills, Philadelphia for many years. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, where she participated in the Altar and Rosary Society. Irena enjoyed her daily prayers, along with cooking and entertaining her family and friends.

Survivors: Husband. Daughter, Maria wife of Lester Zebrowski of Lehighton. Sons, Bogdan and wife Eva Bezak, Henry and wife Jolanta Bezak, all of Bensalem, and Andrew Bezak of Port Saint Lucie, FL. 16 grandchildren. 18 great grandchildren. Sisters, Julia, and Wladyslawa, both in Poland, and Joanne in Reading. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Jozef Witek.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00a.m., Monday, March 9, 2026, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 260 N. 3rd Street, Lehighton, PA 18235, and 1:00p.m., Monday, at Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine, Cemetery Chapel, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
