Irene L. Allen

Irene L. Allen, 70 of Northampton, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, after years of battling progressive health problems linked to juvenile diabetes.

Born in Bethlehem Township, she was the daughter of the late David G. Allen and Mrs. Hermina T. (Mulzert) Allen, and wife of, Philip C. Graham of Northampton.

Irene was a very giving person, the family historian, an avid bird watcher. She graduated from Notre Dame HS, Easton, PA and the Pittsburgh Fashion Design School. Throughout her life she touched others with anniversary, birthdays and congratulations cards. Her indomitable spirit, openness, and compassion will be missed.

Survivors: Husband, Philip Graham of Northampton County; Sisters, Evelyn Peiffer of Auburn, PA, and Christine Lambert of Palm Beach, FL; Brothers, Michael Allen of Easton, PA and George Allen of Slatington, PA. She was preceded by her parents and brother, Mark Allen.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a 4:00 PM funeral service on Saturday, October 30, 2021,at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton. Interment will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
