Irene M. Fox

Irene Marie Fox, 97, of Nazareth, PA passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 at her residence at Gracedale Nursing Home.

Born June 19, 1922, in Union Twsp., NJ, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Laura (Zeilsdorf) Templeton.  She was the wife of the late George L. Fox who passed away in 1999 after 57 years of marriage.

Irene was attending the El Shaddai Assembly of God Church, Nazareth, PA.  Most recently, Irene was employed by the Parachute Shop, Flemington, NJ, until her retirement. Prior to that she offered personal childcare services for 4 years. Prior to that, she worked for Jave's Bakery, Milford, NJ.

In her spare time, Irene loved planting and tending to her garden.  She also loved sewing and was always willing to sew for her family.

Surviving are sons, Rev. Ronald Fox and wife Helen of Tatamy, PA, and David Fox of Allentown, PA, daughter, Pauline Fox of Annondale, NJ, brother, Paul Templeton and wife Bertha of Elkhart, IN, sister, Marjorie Burbic of Alpha, NJ.  12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.  She was predeceased by her son Dale Fox, 1 sister, and 4 brothers, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday June 19 ^th at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home located at 211 E. Center St. Nazareth PA, 18064.  A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Milford Union Cemetery, Milford, NJ.  Please follow all social distancing protocols including face coverings.
