Irene L. Waltz

Irene L. Waltz, 96 of Northampton, PA died on Saturday, January 8, 2022, in Richmond, VA. Born October 10, 1925 in Whitehall-Egypt, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. Edelman and the late Pearl I. (Reinert) Edelman. She was the wife of the late Sherwood G. Waltz who passed away in January 2013.

Irene was last employed as a process checker for AT&T, Allentown, PA for 21 years before retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C. Church, Northampton, PA.

She is survived by sister-in-law Elsie Edelman of Cherryville, PA, brother-in-law, David Thompson of Richmond, VA, along with nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Virginia Thompson, Mae Kovalchick and brother Robert W. Edelman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday January 17, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA 18067. Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM till time of services. Interment will follow in Egypt Cemetery, Whitehall, PA.
