James E. Bauer

James E. Bauer , 70, of Greenwood Street, Palmerton, Franklin Twp., PA, died peacefully Saturday morning, March 29, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  He was the husband of Mrs. Ruth M. (Green) Bauer since August 31, 2024.  Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late William and Tabitha (Lear) Bauer.

James was employed as an overhead crane operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp.  He was a 1973 graduate of the Lehighton High School.  James enjoyed being an active member and former fireman at the Bowmanstown Vol. Fire Co., and as a member of the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club.

Survivors: Wife.  Son, Corey and wife Shannon of Weirton, WV.  2 grandchildren, Wyatt James, and Lincoln.  Sister, Linda wife of Michael Jackson of Tamaqua, Schuylkill County.  Brother, Richard of Franklin Twp.  Several nieces and nephews.  His favorite puppy, Piglet.  He was predeceased by daughter, Jaime A. Bauer in 2020, and a brother, William.
