James R. Darwin , 34 of Easton, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Born August 29, 1990, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Richard Darwin and Katharyn Darwin of Easton.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Raymond, and wife Hope Darwin of Seattle, WA, sisters, Tina Snyder of Northampton, Samantha Darwin and wife Rebecca Nitzberg of Stroudsburg, and Sabrina and husband Warren Hillbish of Easton, grandmother, Nancy Darwin of Easton, nieces Abigail, Rachel, Adelina, and Bella Rose. He was predeceased by his sister, Crystal Darwin.

James' faith was always important to him. He previously attended Bible studies at Vine Church. James always had a huge heart and love for his family and all of his cats, Shadden, Sniffles, Kit Kat, and Nora.  His friends were often considered family to him, and there was little, if any, distinction. His heart had room for everybody. He was passionate about art, gaming, funny memes, skateboarding, frisbee golf, and working out.

James was someone who was good at making the small moments feel important, often expressing enthusiasm over a good meal or a successful game. Even just in greeting you at the door, his face and eyes would light up with warmth. He made it clear that however the time was spent together, it was going to be a real treat. He relished when a joke he made landed, and he had a one of a kind laugh, a truly joyful sound that could be heard near and far. While his irreplaceable presence will be missed by so many, anyone who has ever known James will get to carry his laughter in their hearts.
