James D. Dutko , 60, of Hazle Brook Road, Hazleton, Hazle Twp., died suddenly Monday afternoon, August 8, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton Campus.  Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late John A. and June I. (Hartzel) Dutko.

Jimmy was employed at the ARC Workshop, Beaver Meadows, for over 34 years until retiring.  He was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton, and a 1979 graduate of the Palmerton High School  Jimmy enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, traveling, bowling, arts and crafts, Pennsylvania Polkas, WWF, and was everyone's best friend.

Survivors: "Uncle" Robert J. Costello with whom he resided.  Niece, Janelle Costenbader.  Nephew, Christopher Dutko, and a great-nephew.  He was predeceased by brother, Jeffrey Dutko.
