James J. Hatton

James J. Hatton , 87, of Sky View Drive, Kunkletown, Eldred Township, Monroe County, PA, died peacefully early Tuesday morning, April 30, 2024, in his home.  He was the husband of Mrs. Christa H. (Braune) Hatton since February 19, 1956.  Born in the Bronx, NY, he was a son of the late James and Michelena (Blumpstein) Hatton.

James was employed as a radar engineer for the Northrop Grumman Corp., Calverton, LI, NY, and Bethpage, LI, NY.  He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Brodheadsville.  James honorably served in the Navy, Korea Era.  He was a 3rd Order Franciscan, Riverhead, LI, NY, serving in the Prison Ministry.  He also enjoyed being a member of the Palmerton Rod and Gun Club, Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughters, Deborah wife of Anthony Tesariero of Palm Beach, FL, Kathleen wife of Peter Purpura of Saylorsburg, PA, Theresa Roberts, and Elizabeth wife of Robert Felton, all of Lake Worth, FL.  Sons, James J. of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert of Boynton Beach, FL, William of Kunkletown, PA, Kenneth of Kernersville, NC, and Christopher of Kunkletown, PA.  20 grandchildren.  4 great-grandchildren.  Brothers, Drs. Michael and wife Dawn of GA, and Kevin of Buffalo, NY.
