James L. Herman

James L. Herman , 65 of Coplay- N. Whitehall Twsp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at his residence. Born May 27, 1958 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late James A. Herman and Mary Ann (Bohar) Herman Nemchick of Bethlehem.

James was a 1976 Whitehall High School graduate who continued his education at Penn State University where he earned his bachelors degree in Business Administration.  James was the Owner/ Operator of the Egypt West Apartments, N. Whitehall Twsp. for over 30 years.  In his spare time, he was an avid golfer, and enjoyed competing in local horseshoe leagues.  He also was fond of hunting and fishing in the great outdoors.

Survivors: Mother, son, James T. Herman, daughters, Kadi Lee Herman and fiancé Gunnar of Coplay, PA and Kali Ann Herman of Pembroke Pines, FL,  6-grandchildren; Jett, Blaire, Natalie, Grayson, Lucy, and Magnolia, sisters; Barbara R. Wirth and husband Jeffery of Danielsville, PA, Karen A. Pammer of Northampton, PA, and Maureen L. Leaswitch of Walnutport, PA, partner, Lori Reinhart. of Orefield, PA and her three children, Layne, Michael, and Gabby.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton PA 18067, has been entrusted with his care and service.
