James M. Kohler

James M. Kohler, 56 of Bath, PA, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital -Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, PA. Born March 29, 1965 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late James D. Kohler and Patricia A. (Stevko) Kohler of Bath, PA.

James was a 1983 Graduate of Northampton High School, who continued his education at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem for 2 years and finished his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from East Stroudsburg University in 1987. James was employed by Air Products, Allentown, PA for the past 10 years as Materials Specialist. Prior to Air Products, James worked for Genesis Engineers/Sanofi, Swiftwater, PA in Computer Inventory for 4 years. Prior to, he was employed by Federal-Mogul Corporation, Allentown, PA in charge of Auto Parts Inventory for several
years. He attended Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Bath, PA in his earlier years, he served as altar boy, part time organist, and earned his Eagle Scout with Troop 43. James was also a part time Music DJ offering his services to the community for years. He enjoyed music, photography, wildlife and the great outdoors. He was an avid traveler of the nation taking two to three trips per year and always partaking of a nature tour in his travels.

Surviving along with his mother Patricia are brothers, Michael A. Kohler and wife Deanna of Nazareth, PA and John D. Kohler of Bath, PA. Three nieces; Aimee, Emily, Isabelle, and nephew Alistair. Godmother, Aunt, Kathy Schleppy of Bath, PA, and Godfather, Robert Janco of Palmerton and many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 115 Washington Street, Bath, PA 18014. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA 18067. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart R.C. Church Cemetery, Bath, PA.
