James "Jimmy" R. Baer , Jr., 40, of 5th Street, Northampton, died suddenly early Saturday morning, Oct 5, 2024, in his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of James R., Sr. and Barbara A. (Duch) Baer with whom he resided.

James was employed by Hafner and Son, Inc. Danielsville, as a general laborer. He was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, N. Catasauqua. James was an avid fisherman who enjoyed professional wrestling and baseball.

Survivors: parents. brother, Matthew J. and wife Crystal of Northampton. nephew, Collin Baer. aunt, Delores Hay of NJ. uncles, Daniel Duch of Washington DC, Joseph Duch of Northampton. several cousins. white German shepherd companions, Kilo, and Luna.
