James A. Schock, Sr., 86 of Northampton, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township.
Born March 15, 1934 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Joseph Schock and Josephine Schock, Sr.. He and his wife Carol (Achey) Schock were married on June 16, 1956.
He worked as a mason for many years and then in the maintenance department for the Northampton School District before retiring.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Pamela R. wife of Charles Brinkman of Northampton, and Tammy J. Miller, wife of Michael of Northampton, sons, James A. Schock, Jr. and wife Cindy of Sunrise, FL, Frederick J. Schock and wife Kiki of Bethlehem, and Richard W. Schock of Easton, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph Schock, Jr., Frederick Schock, Franklin Schock, and Richard Schock, sisters, Mary Piscitelli, and Irma Schock.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice House or NAMI of the Lehigh Valley, both in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
