James R. Stepp

James R. Stepp, 66 of Walnutport, PA died on Friday, December 20, 2019, at his residence with his family by his side. Born April 27, 1953 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Donald Stepp, Sr. and the late Helen (James) Stepp. He was the husband of Constance M. (Kornheisl) Stepp, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage last Jan. 1, 2019.

James was last employed as a Technician for Joe's A/C, Allentown, for several years before retiring. Prior to he was a machinist for Moser Industries, Allentown for many years. James was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, Whitehall, PA. He volunteered his time as a member of the Darktown Vol. Fire Co. James was a member of the Raccoon Club, Petersville Rod & Gun Club, and the L.V. Chapter Harley Club.

Surviving along with his wife Connie are son, James Schwoyer of Allentown, PA, daughters, April Gross and companion Brian Kester of Germansville, PA, Jamie Lynn wife of Dennie Elmore of Slatington, PA, brothers, Donald Stepp, Jr. of Kernsville, PA and Frank Stepp and wife Lori of N. Carolina, sister, Donna Stepp of Berlinsville, PA; 5 grandchildren: Justin, Maliki, Ashton, Ryan, Elizabeth, 2 great grandsons, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson Joshua Stepp-Gross, 2 brothers, Jackie and William, and 5 Sisters, Ann, Cheryl, Irene,
Mary, and Violet.

A Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday December 23, 2019 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. James W. Schlegel officiating. Friends and family may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
