James F. Taylor , 59 of Whitehall, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown, PA. He was the husband of Ann M. (Hutchins) Taylor. Born on November 30, 1958 in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Floyd and Jane (Costion) Taylor.

James was employed by E. Nelson & Sons Excavating Co. for 10 years before retiring in 2008. Prior to that he worked as a logger for Ralph Knot Logging in Harvey's Lake, PA for 15 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Pittsburg Steeler's fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sisters, Jane, wife of William Andrews of Bear Creek, PA and Joan, wife of James Belles of Noxen, PA, brother, Jeffrey Taylor and companion Michaelene Gingo of Wilkes Barre, PA, twelve nieces and nephews, twenty-two great nieces and nephews and five great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, John (Jack) Taylor and Joseph Taylor.

A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
