James R. Transue,
64, of Palmerton, Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania, died Sunday morning, June 24, 2018, in his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Merlin F. and Anna B.M. (Margli) Transue.
He was employed as a drill/equipment technician by Weir Welding, Bethlehem, for over 15 years, retiring in 2017. He attended Blue Mountain Community Church, Palmerton. An avid motorcyclist, James liked stopping by the Palmerton Sunoco Station to catch up with friends. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and firearms.
Survivors: Daughter, Emthrys E. Kingcaid-Homsey, wife of Michael Homsey of Lehighton, and two grandchildren, Star and Thomas.
