Jane Gisela Jones-Dougherty

Jane Gisela Jones-Dougherty , 60, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed on Sunday, October 13, 2019.  She was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Meta (Kleinfeld) Jones, of Palmerton, who both passed in 2007.

Jane worked at various mills in the area as a sewing machine operator.  She enjoyed doing word-search puzzles, watching television, and shopping with her sister.  Jane especially enjoyed spending time with her cats, Friskie and Cody.  Jane was a 1977 graduate of the Northampton Area High School.  She loved her brother, Chuck "Mike" and his family, and her sister, Ina, and brother-in-law, Ronnie.

Jane's family would like to extend their deep appreciation to Donna and her staff at Tranquil Living of Palmerton, who cared for Jane with great commitment, compassion and respect.  Special appreciation to Family Pillars Hospice, and everyone who provided our sister with the love and dignity she deserved.

Survivors: Sister, Ina I. wife of Ronald L. Ritter, of Palmerton.  Brother, Charles M. and wife Laura Jones, of Golden, CO.  Nephews, Duncan and Camden Jones, and Daniel Sullivan, all of Colorado.  Extended loving family, and friends.

Services: Private Graveside Services occurred on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at St. Paul's U.C.C., Indianland, Cherryville, PA.  Officiating was the Rev.
