Janet V. Wambold

Janet V. (Dute) Wambold, 83, formerly of Almond Road, Lehigh Twp, died peacefully early Sunday morning, June 7, 2026, at Liza's House Personal Care Home, Danielsville. She was the wife of the late Leo B. Wambold, Sr. who passed in 2021. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Viola V. (Frack) Dute.

Janet was employed as a seamstress for several years at the former Tama Manufacturing Co., Northampton. She attended Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville. An avid seamstress and quilter, she very much enjoyed music.

Survivors: daughter, Vicky V. Haines of Walnutport. sons, Leo "Tiger" B., Jr. of Mint Hill, NC, Michael R. and wife Karanne of Danielsville. 6 grandchildren, Tabitha, Amanda, Angela, Joshua, Michael, and Jesse. 8 great grandchildren.
